A few months ago, I tried a project from Bakerella's website. It was
red velvet cake balls. Well, they looked so cute. How could I resist? Every place I looked, people were raving about them. Well, I have pictures of my foray into the world of cake balls. At the top is the before photo, one naked cake ball. At the bottom, is one fudgy cakeball enrobed in white chocolate. Visit Bakerella's site and try it for yourself.

[F]ucking Awesome! I'm gonna try 'em.... You've inspired this microwave ninja to delve into the arcane (though equally ninja-like) baking arts.
I've read so much about red velvet cake that I figure I've got to try it. But cake balls? That's a new one on me, I'll have to check that out!
foxy-You're funny! You should come over to the dark side and join us in the delicious realm of baking.
mrs. l-I made mine with a chocolate cake. Red Velvet is great. I've never made it from scratch though. Something about two bottles of red food coloring and my tendency to get things all over me just don't mix.
